Donate Mobile Phones
Join us in supporting fonesforsafety®
Why not help by hosting a collection box or freepost envelopes? Mobile phone recycling allows for the fonesforsafety® project to continue providing reconfigured fonesforsafety® phone alarms to the police and domestic violence support agencies who can then deliver them to beneficiaries free of charge.
Donating unwanted mobile phones to the fonesforsafety® project has a dual function – not only will your donations help sustain fonesforsafety® but toxic waste is also diverted from accumulating in landfill.

Freepost Address
If you would like to make an individual donation of you unwanted mobile phone(s) – you can simply pop ‘em into any old envelope (reuse!) and address them to: fonesforsafety® FREEPOST LON 15948 – London SE17 1BR (no postage needed). Batteries and chargers are optional – unwanted mobile phones of any make, age or condition will make a difference.
Hosting a Collection Box
If you think you are likely to receive a number of donations (e.g. more than 30 phones) you could host a collection box in your office or business. These fonesforsafety® collection boxes can be delivered and picked-up free of charge and you can be notified of tonnages recycled through these collection boxes. A collection box measures 32cm high and 30cm wide by 36cm long and takes up very little space.
Hosting Freepost Envelopes
If you prefer hosting freepost envelopes (they are A5 size and can contain 1 or 2 phones, depending on size of the phones) for your customers, clients or passers-by to pick up – we can send you some as well.
In addition, we are happy to provide bespoke posters and email blurbs to help with raising awareness about fonesforsafety® and to help you signpost to your community how to donate their unwanted mobiles phones. Contact the fonesforsafety® Project Co-ordinator on 020 7740 6533 or email fonesforsafety@crispej.org.uk to for more information and to discuss how you can best help out!
