Partnerships
The effectiveness of fonesforsafety® is rooted in partnership building – both in terms of delivery and sustainability. It is through these partnerships that the main aims of fonesforsafety® are achieved, in:
1) supporting victims and survivors of domestic violence
2) encouraging the public to engage positively with environmental protection and
3) making a valuable contribution to the co-ordinated community response to domestic violence
Delivery Partners typically include Domestic ViolenceSupport Agencies such as:
o Local Police – Community Safety Unit and Domestic Violence Support Officers
o Voluntary Sector – Specialist Domestic Violence Services
o Local Authorities - Domestic Violence co-ordinators or CDRP Representative(s)
Sustainability Partners include:
o Large and Small Local Businesses
o Business Forums and Chambers of Commerce
o Corporate Social Responsibility Managers
o Universities
o Primary Care Trusts
o Local Authorities – Recycling Officers or Sustainable Development Representative(s)
